I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I’m so thankful that we had such a beautiful couple of days to spend outside in the sunshine with family and friends. The warm weather also provided a great opportunity to plant some flowers.
Although the name “Magnolia” was chosen in honor of my lovely grandmothers, (read the story here) some may think I chose it simply for my love of flowers. All types of beautiful blooms inspire me and when it comes to bridal bouquets there are so many interesting combinations of colors and textures to make your look unique.
I’ll forever think peonies are classically romantic and that roses add the perfect touch of elegance to a bouquet but I love adding an unexpected detail. A few of the unique elements that can subtlety give these timeless flowers a modern look are thistle, kumquats, cotton branches and proteas. You’ll see these and other stunningly unique stems in my favorite floral finds below:
With so many beautiful options to choose from, what's your favorite unique addition to a bouquet?
